Lessons from Loss: A Guide to Conducting TB Patient Mortality Audits using a Patient-Centered Approach
Abstract: The purpose of this tool is to collect information on factors leading to mortality among tuberculosis (TB) patients in order to help health professionals, planners, managers working in TB programs, and TB advocates to save TB patients’ lives by improving care seeking and the quality of care. The tool offers step by step guidance on how to pinpoint where the problems lie and to build consensus toward feasible solutions.
